Aging infrastructure and equipment create the perfect environment for biofilm growth, and these challenges aren’t going away. Having worked at the Center for Biofilm Engineering at Montana State University, Burnett leads Sterilex’s R&D team to explore and harness chemistries for food safety and biofilm control.
Under Burnett’s leadership, Sterilex launched ProvaStride — a registered, quat-free dry floor sanitizer with a comprehensive label including efficacy against Listeria monocytogenes and Cronobacter sakazakii. A colleague shared, “Sterilex has created a culture of ‘make it happen,’ and we cannot wait to see what is accomplished with Dr. Burnett at the helm.”
