

With a degree in entomology and nematology from the University of Florida, Mel Whitson helps pest management professionals (PMPs) maximize profitability by offering products that are efficient, consistent and provide long-term control for cockroaches and many other insects.
Whitson joined Central Life Sciences as a regional manager and has spent nearly 20 years working with the company’s Zoëcon Professional Products division. He has earned the reputation for influential leadership and building strong customer relationships throughout each role he’s held as a regional sales manager, senior field technical services manager and currently as the director of pest control sales for Zoëcon Professional Products.
Whitson’s guidance helps PMPs control insect populations and prevent future infestations with Zoëcon’s innovative line of insect control products, including Gentrol® Complete EC3, a unique formulation designed for use in food-handling establishments that controls active infestations of cockroaches and other listed pests, plus future control by breaking the insect life cycle.
