Partnership is key to a successful integrated pest management program, and Tara Beauregard, strategic account manager for Corteva Agriscience, is using the ActiveSense® electronic remote monitoring system to strengthen partnerships between quality assurance managers and their pest management professionals (PMPs).
By monitoring for pests 24/7 and alerting of activity in real time, the ActiveSense® system enables PMPs to deliver a quicker response when pests are active. Precise activity data gathered by the system helps inform root-cause analysis and corrective action for faster issue resolution and long-lasting protection.
“The true value is in what the system enables,” Beauregard explained. “Beyond a faster response, PMPs are able to reallocate service time spent checking equipment for pest activity to tasks that bolster pest prevention, such as targeted inspections and proactive program recommendations.”
Smart data-driven integrated pest management is possible with Corteva and the ActiveSense system.
