Peeps. They’re not just for Easter anymore. In fact, with ghostly Peeps and jack-o-lantern Peeps an annual product for Just Born candy company, October is the perfect time to feature Peeps in QA’s Throwback Thursday.
And those who relish those iconic Peeps, whatever the season, are likely to be thrilled with the newest innovation using Peeps: Peeps Milk, a collaboration between Peeps and Prairie Farms Dairy. The product was awarded the Ingredient/Flavoring/Seasoning/Additive innovation award from the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) announced the winners of the IDFA Innovations Awards at the International Dairy Show. As stated by IDFA, the milk “brought spring to life in the dairy department with coast-to-coast customer requests, national media attention from hundreds of outlets and an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The eco-friendly quart paperboard carton graphics are colorful and feature Peeps shapes along with fun recipes on the side panels.”
