Heat and Control has introduced three new products: the FastBack Blending system, the Ishida ACP-700 Automatic Case Packer, and the Ishida Inspira Snack Bagmaker.
Following are descriptions of each from the company:
- FastBack Blending System. FastBack blending systems offer manufacturers an economical and accurate means of delivering product blends to multiple scales in a variety of environments. Manufacturers can now calibrate each component stream, regardless of the component's characteristics, for a constant product stream flow, achieving balanced blends, giving operators complete and intuitive control.
- Inspira Snack Bagmaker. Inspira is a fast, stable, and precise snack bagmaker for any type of laminated film from thick to thin. A large, color, human-machine interface that automatically adjusts timing values and mechanical settings and that holds up to 200 presets gives operators simple functionality for changeovers and general operation. Inspira is the result of extensive research and development, the next evolution of VFFS bagmakers and further improves accuracy, sealing integrity, ease of use, and productivity. Inspira's ease of access, predictive maintenance, and ability to work with a wide variety of film makes it easy to operate, and it offers high levels of productivity performance, system efficiency, and pack quality, along with reduced environmental impact and improved operator working conditions, such as an increased level of automation which reduces the risk of human error.
- ACP-700 Automatic Case Packer. This is a compact case packer that can be set up in an existing or a small space, making it attractive for customers looking to improve their boxing process. This fully automatic case-packing system ensures correct bag count in the case and accurate case-packing of mass-produced products, with a capacity for boxing up to 150 packages/10 cases-per-minute. With the case packer's controls system's feed forward and feedback features, the flow of bags is measured and controlled. This reduces bottlenecks by continuously adjusting settings as bags are running through the system. It provides toolless three-minute fully-automatic pushbutton adjustment changeovers, has a small footprint, and includes more standard features (e.g., case erector, closing mechanism, large 15.3" color display, predictive maintenance tools) to make it a highly efficient system that is easy to operate. Another key design improvement is the removal of the vacuum system typically required for bag handling.
Heat and Control is Ishida's exclusive partner in the Americas, and a manufacturer and supplier of food processing, packaging, and inspection equipment, with experience and resources to provide a single machine or combination system with conveyors and rejecters for any operation.
