NORTHBROOK, Ill. — UL Solutions, a global applied safety science company, announced that it has completed the sale of its food safety auditing business, Everclean, to Steritech, which provides food safety services across the United States and Canada. Steritech is a part of Rentokil Initial.
"This divestiture allows UL Solutions to focus our expertise on our core strategic services while ensuring Everclean customers continue to receive the best-in-class services to which they are accustomed," said Jennifer Scanlon, president and CEO, UL Solutions Inc. Founded in 1998, Everclean provides food safety and sanitation audit programs to the hospitality and retail foodservice industries.
The transaction closed on March 1.
