The Safety Knife Company introduces the newest safe box opener or heavy-duty bag-opening knife: the Duck 1100M.
Designed to cut the tops off the bags or boxes, the D1100M cuts through paper, plastic and burlap bags as well as corrugated boxes.
Made with a metal-detectable polypropylene knife body, the D1100M is specifically designed for the food industry. This material can be detected and rejected by typical detection machines and is X-ray visible, the company said. Pieces as small as 1/16” have been tested and detected.
The D1100M is a disposable knife that is injection molded with completely enclosed surgical stainless steel blades and sealed to prevent bacterial growth.
