KABA Tape Bird Shock System introduces a 110-volt, plug-in charger offering constant power, anti-arcing and lightning protection for wet weather. The new unit will not harm birds or humans, the company said.
The new unit passes UL safety tests. Output is one very quick voltage pulse followed by a long pause of one second; lock-on cannot occur, the company said. Constant power with the 110-volt charger ensures that when the tape is wet, it automatically maintains a minimum voltage level to ensure enough voltage on the tape to teach animals to back off.
Anti-arcing virtually eliminates unwanted arcing through water droplets by regulating output voltage levels, the company said. Undesirable snapping during inclement periods ceases. Lightning protection comes standard. The new model is tailor made to drive KABA Tape Bird Shock Systems. KABA is an ultra-thin, clear tape that can be stuck to buildings. It is packaged in 50-foot rolls.
