Remel Contact Plates

New and improved GripFit plates are now available on Remel Contact Plates for environmental monitoring. The new lid design features a snug fit lid that makes one-handed plate handling easier while minimizing the risk of contamination due to inadvertent lid slippage during plate handling. In order to assure sterility during environmental monitoring, contact plate lids must fit snuggly, but must be easy to remove with one hand. This minimizes the risk of contaminating other areas of the clean room or isolator with a second hand, which can hold other reagents, pipettes, or laboratory tools. Remel Sterile Contact Plates with the new GripFit™ technology are easier to use in sterile environments and help to ensure the safety and quality of pharmaceutical and biotechnology products.

Remel Sterile Contact Plates are double bagged and have a third bag enclosed for plate transport. These products are manufactured in a Class 10,000 (ISO Class 7) validated Clean room with Class 100 (ISO Class 5) work zones and are validated to be sterile by gamma radiation with a sterility assurance level of 10-6. From Quality Control organisms (ATCC® Licensed Derivative™ Program Member) to microbial media for Microbial Limits Testing (MLT) and Sterility Testing as well as media for environmental monitoring and quality assurance testing needs, Remel has the complete portfolio of products necessary to meet pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers’ regulatory guidelines for validation and testing.
